The Laura Aschero winery is a small family-run business that produces around 70,000 bottles of fine Ligurian wines: Vermentino, Pigato, Rossese and Rosato. We started our activity in 1980 by restoring the family land to vineyards. We have succeeded in obtaining a high level product that has earned prestigious quality awards over the years.

History
Laura Aschero was my mother. The daughter of a doctor and later a doctor's wife, she showed a determined, brilliant and enterprising character from an early age. After being a full-time wife and mother, in 1975 at the age of 54 she decided, with the support of dad, to restore family land to vineyards in order to sell grapes to local winegrowers and to create employment for her husband, who was approaching retirement. But she was not a woman to stand at the window, so, urged on by friends in the industry, she decided to register with the Chamber of Commerce and tried to vinify some of her grapes.
About us
I take care of the cellar, with the advice of oenologist Gianpaolo Ramò, and the running of the vineyards with the help of Fulvio, my right-hand man, and Ivan and Filippo.
My daughter Bianca, who holds a diploma in Marketing and Communication from the IED in Milan and is an A.I.S. Sommelier, is involved in the company full time and divides her time between the winery, vineyards, desk and public relations.
My wife Carla, a disciple of my mother, who trained her well, takes care of the administration, paperwork and relations with customers and representatives. As Bianca says, we are a good team!
