Riviera Ligure di Ponente Olive Oil
In the last century, my grandmother cultivated Taggiasche olives, typical of the western Ligurian Riviera, on the family's land. Over the years, due to various vicissitudes, we have neglected this type of cultivation, also because we have dedicated ourselves body and soul to planting vineyards.
Two years ago was the turning point, thanks to the help of a friend, who is fully committed to olive growing. We started restoring part of the olive grove by pruning and fertilising the trees, giving them new life. The harvest is done by hand, just before the fruit ripens. We immediately deliver the olives to a trusted mill, which cold-presses them the same day, producing a fragrant, natural and oxidant-free oil.
